Chad Provencher

National Accounts Executive
TranzAct Technologies, Inc.

Chad's 15 years of experience in logistics provides shippers with a competitive edge. Unlike most, his understanding is absolute as he has tackled the industry globally through the eyes of the shipper, customer, carrier and consultant.

His innate analytical skills and grasp of the mechanics of the industry has earned him operations, analyst and management positions with players like Bristol-Meyers Squibb, Mobil and Bose. In addition to managing union employees and the regional distribution of gasoline for Mobile and creating over $2million in cost reductions at Bose, he has been critical to the success of many shippers' supply chains.

Chad has planned and managed extremely successful product roll outs for new and existing manufacturers and coordinated a master plan to unify individual departments within a 40,000+ employee organization, creating a long-term (7 year) mechanism to effectively streamline and manage operations, communications and continual growth. Through carrier relationship management, data analysis and negotiated price and contract adjustments, Chad directed the RFP process for TL and LTL offerings for an average of 10-15% savings for TranzAct customers.

He is now in the trenches with shippers, helping them put their business under a microscope to determine the best cost reduction and practice improvement solutions for an efficient and sustainable future through the utilization of transportation information. He has helped these customers go beyond measurement of transportation costs to further understand how they can change business practices to increase overall profitability.

Chad was a Flight Control, Engines, and Avionics systems electrician with the United States Air force and worked in support of Operation Desert Storm at Dhahran Air Base, Saudi Arabia. He has a BS Logistics and Transportation, and International Business from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and is a member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA).
