Dan's extensive experience in transportation and logistics includes broad-based representation of fulfillment companies, shippers, shippers' agents, and shippers' associations, suppliers to companies engaged in transportation and logistics functions, third-party logistics service providers and warehousing companies.
Representation focuses on areas such as civil forfeiture defense, commercial controversies, contract and rate negotiation, involvement with DOT, FAA, FHWA, FMC, STB and comparable state and local agencies, logistics contracting and planning, regulation compliance, safety issues and sales tax issues.
He is affiliated with many industry related associations such as the Transportation Lawyers Association, Association for Transportation Law, Logistics, and Policy, Illinois State Bar Association, DuPage Bar Association, and is the Director, P.A.M. Transport, Inc., (NASDAQ-PSTI) Director, Universal Truckload Services, Inc. (NASDAQ-UACL) and Instructor of Logistics at University of Wisconsin-Madison.
