Dave is recognized as one of the country's leading specialists in helping organizations find solutions to their Supply Chain strategy and performance needs. He has a documented record of helping multi-billion dollar firms increase profit and market share.
His extensive 35+ years of logistics experience includes senior level Supply Chain Management positions with several Fortune 500 firms where he designed and implemented high performance processes and systems. A significant asset to TranzAct and its clients, Dave specializes in issues at the intersection of business processes, technology, organization and corporate ambition to drive growth and sustainable competitive advantage.
Dave has been instrumental in helping many shippers re-focus their strategies to support the real needs of their customers, streamline their order to invoice processes to include supporting system integration, design effective distribution networks, acquire and manage a private fleet system for multiple manufacturing locations, develop and implement new product roll-out approaches.
While with Computer Science Corporation, he served as the Partner in Charge and co author for a year long research effort between CSC and the University of Tennessee for the Council of Supply Chain Professionals (formerly CLM) which resulted in the book, Keeping Score - Measuring the Business Value of Logistics in the Supply Chain. Recently he was a member of the Oversight Committee for the research project on Communicating the Value of Supply Chain Management to Your CEO. As an active member of CSCMP, Dave held numerous offices in the organization: Past President of the Twin Cities Roundtable, Co-founder of the Heartland Roundtable, and a recent Member of CSCMP's Executive Committee.
Dave is a frequent speaker at CSCMP events, and professional seminars/workshops in the USA and Europe. Additionally, he is part of the program faculty for several of the University of Wisconsin's Executive Education offerings.
