Recognized as an accomplished negotiator, Vic manages the procurement and execution of all LTL services, carrier relations and related customer service for TranzAct Technologies. In his 36 years of logistics experience, he has accumulated extensive credentials in developing and executing highly effective Request for Proposal (RFP) processes with shipping giants like Sara Lee Corp and International Harvester.

His expertise spans inbound and outbound transportation, private fleet operations, international transportation, demand planning, customer service, accounts receivable and inbound consolidation operations. He effectively negotiates corporate transportation agreements for several modes and has extensive experience in managing cost reduction projects that deliver supply chain savings through process improvements.

Throughout his career, Vic has successfully developed and implemented strategic and tactical plans to effectively manage various functions within the supply chain. Employing his diverse experiences, Vic successfully developed and launched TranzAct's Truckload division and currently directs all RFP initiatives including TranzAct's in-demand Freedom Logistics and customized tariff and Transportation Sourcing & Spend Management programs.

He has presented on various logistics related subjects at several industry events, has been quoted in many industry publications and was an associate editor of the “Purchasing Inbound Transportation” chapter of the fifth edition of The Purchasing Handbook that was sponsored by NAPM.

Active in professional organizations throughout his career, Vic held various positions in these organizations including Director of Education for the Warehousing, Education and Research Council (WERC); Program Chairman, Grocery Manufacturers of America, Logistics/Distribution Committee; and Director of Procedures, Board of Directors, NAPM Transportation Committee. He has also been a member of several other committees such as the Global Committee of the council of Logistics Management; the Research Center of WERC; and the 3rd Party Consolidation, Performance Measurements Operating and Physical Distribution Committees that were an integral part of the grocery industry's Efficient Consumer Response supply chain initiative.
